Apocalypse 101, season 1, episode 4: Guns, Bunkers, and Grease

release year: 2013
genre: TV documentary
viewing setting: home streaming 12/13/23

synopsis: Four ex-military experts have formed a company and advise people who need feedback and input on their preparations.

impressions: This episode's clients: a guy who lives in the wilderness full-time and wants better security...a mom with a bunch of kids who is considering an underground bunker...a leader of 30 people who talks to animals...a New York City apartment dweller who plans to bug in indefinitely and wants to fortify her apartment but may not be capable of all the necessary actions.

acting: n/a but it's fun to see the team's different personalities and how they deal with the clients; I've noticed that they more often talk about "when" than "if" which makes me wonder what their own preps look like, and if they are really convinced that the world will end

final word: Interesting alternative to Doomsday Preppers when I can't stream that.
