episode synopsis: While returning from a mission in South America, everyone but Amy crash-lands in SC backcountry, where they run afoul of murderous hillbillies.
impressions: This one continued a trend of more inter-team tension and bickering. Amy got to put up with a constantly-bragging reporter who was also working with the Army to find the team. There was some wilderness E&E and trap-setting as well as lots of stupid hicks with guns.
notable guest star: Edward Winter, who played Colonel Flagg in the M.A.S.H. TV series, mostly slept through his role here as the guy that the team rescues from the backwoods clowns.
what the team builds in this episode: a small motorized plane, using parts from the real plane plus some stuff Face picks up; they also fabricate a handheld missile launcher
Hannibal wisecrack highlight: uses wilderness skills to mislead the bad guys, also plays a hell of a bluff at the end
