episode synopsis: Some bad guys hire mercenaries to take out the A-Team.

impressions: This was one of the better episodes. A bunch of people whose plans have been foiled by the team put down some serious money to have them eliminated. Of course, if the mercenaries had simply killed each team member, instead of capturing them and holding them, then maybe they would have gotten to collect and spend that money.

notable guest star: Ed Lauter, who usually plays a bad guy in Charles Bronson movies, is the leader of the mercenaries here.

what the team builds in this episode: Nothing.

Hannibal wisecrack highlight: Despite being poisoned, as the only team member to avoid capture, it's up to him to hatch a rescue plan.

B.A. toughness highlight: Gets to fight the big bad guy at the end.

Murdock insanity highlight: Gets extra-inspired during training.

Face scam highlight: No scam this time; instead, he gets captured when the bad guys use a pretty girl in a Ferrari as bait.

Tawnia usefulness highlight: When the chips are down and Hannibal needs help, she brings the doctor.
