The A-Team: Moving Targets

episode number: season 3, episode 18 (1985)
viewing setting: home DVD, 2/18/06

episode synopsis: The team is hired by a Mideast king to protect his daughter from assassins on her wedding day.

impressions: Well, it was a change of pace, and had a plot twist as well as several gunfights, a hand-to-knife fight, some grenade throwing, a plane crash, some witty banter, and an escape from a jail cell. And the ending, in which B.A. gets some revenge for all the times the others put him on a plane, was priceless.

notable guest star: John Saxon was the leader of the rebels.

what the team builds in this episode: Nothing, really, though they do improvise a way out of the jail cell and then set up some traps with things commonly found in engine rooms.

Hannibal wisecrack highlight: Refuses to put up with the princess' whining; when she breaks a heel of one shoe, he snaps off the other one for her.) He also has some choice insults to goad the head bad guy into angrily walking into the team's trap.

B.A. toughness highlight: Provides the raw muscle power to get the jail cell open.

Murdock insanity highlight: Thinks he's Pasadena Murdock, a fedora-wearing world adventurer.

Face scam highlight: Puts the moves on the princess, even though she's supposed to be married the next day.
