episode synopsis: When Hannibal, posing as a wino, is kidnapped, the team goes up against a group that kills derelicts and steals their identities.

impressions: It was decent, with some good humor and a quietly serious bad-guy plot. In any realistic situation, this band of murderers would have been brought to true justice for the untold killings they are implied to have performed. Instead we get the team taking them half-seriously, and ending up having to be rescued by Murdock leading a ragtag band of bums and winos..

notable guest star: Christopher Neame, who plays evil sneering bad guys in many roles, is an evil sneering bad guy here.

what the team builds in this episode: Nothing, but Murdock equips various bums with guns and incites them into battle.

Hannibal wisecrack highlight: While digging his own grave, he smarts off at the bad guys and tells jokes while planning an escape.

B.A. toughness highlight: Takes the role of lead interrogator on the captured bad guy.

Murdock insanity highlight: In addition to (apparently successfully) thinking he can become invisible, he takes a turn as a preacher and ends up inspiring all of the derelicts.
