episode synopsis: The team allies with good Russians who are trying to prevent bad Russians from stealing a superweapon and starting World War III.

impressions: I kept waiting for the "good" Russians to turn out to be bad, but it never happened. This was some early, 1980s, not-so-serious depiction of terrorism, as well as the warming up of the Cold War. It also marked the return of a regular Army antagonist who hunts for the team.

notable guest star: William Smith (who's had many movie and TV tough-guy roles) was the good Russian.

what the team builds in this episode: nothing

Hannibal wisecrack highlight: Cuts a deal with the Army and then backs out on it. Not really impressive, I know.

B.A. toughness highlight: Nothing, really.

Murdock insanity highlight: Thinks he's both a critic and a newsman, plus he goes undercover to impersonate a bad guy.

Face scam highlight: Seduces the defecting Russian ballerina.
