How Can You Mend a Broken Heart

release year: 2020
genre: documentary
viewing setting: home DVD 2/1/23

synopsis: This documentary covers the Bee Gees from their childhood to their early success, resurgence in the disco era, and beyond.

impressions: This is likely the best Bee Gees documentary we'll ever see. It has extensive interview footage with all of the brothers, other band members, producers, mixers, wives, and more. The narration is outstanding and really takes you through the formation and evolution of the band, and its successes and the in-betweens. I learned a lot.

acting: n/a but the quantity, quality, and variety of the interviews/footage is amazing.

final word: Very thorough and insightful look into the career of the band and the lives of its members.
