The Charles Bronson Film Collection
release year: 2004
genre: supposedly a documentary, actually a collection of film trailers with a brief intro
viewing setting: home DVD, 6/25/04
synopsis: This is nothing more than an introduction and 38 trailers for Charles Bronson movies.
impressions: An interesting compilation. Some of these trailers are rare and the movies aren't even out on DVD. It's got most of his good movies, spanning the 1950s through the 1980s. A few of the more obscure ones were interesting - who knew that in one movie, he got in a fistfight with Robert Redford, or in another, co-starred with Elvis?
something this movie has that no other movie has: the trailer for White Buffalo (apparently Jaws set in the wild West with a giant buffalo)
final word: Worth having for the trailer-rarity value alone; if you're a Bronson fan, buy this.
