Jammin' In New York

release year: 1992
genre: stand-up comedy
viewing setting: home DVD 5/6/19

synopsis: This was George Carlin's eighth HBO special, from 1992.

impressions: This one has heavy in the politics, opening with a lengthy diatribe on the Gulf War that didn't much feel like comedy. Notable segments I liked: little things we all share in common, airline accouncements' wording, the homeless, and things being fine despite what we think.

final word: Good classic live comedy, but not his best, and a little too political for my liking.
