synopsis: A train accidentally diverts to an abandoned line, where an underground monster lurks.

impressions: This was a Singaporean monster movie, which I watched while in business class on an international flight with Singapore Airlines, so there. It was fairly simple and slick: a small group of people find themselves in a bad situation and must try to survive, while another group of people above ground try to figure out what's going on and eventually help. There was some inconsistency in the monster's behavior and attack patterns, but nothing major.

acting: Jesseca Liu is the main woman, a mom who's trying to get her young son out of the danger. Peter Yu is another passenger who helps.

final word: Entertaining monster movie.
