Eagle Eye

release year: 2008
genre: action/suspense
viewing setting: home DVD, 1/2/09

synopsis: Two people must obey the commands of someone who can tap into and control any cellphone, street sign, or "wired" device.

impressions: Interesting, but it stretches reality a bit. Early on, I found myself asking who could possibly be behind the scheme, and how. I got an answer, but it's still a bit implausible. Nevertheless, this movie was full of action, chases, stunts, and plot twists. It moved along at a good pace.

something this movie has that no other movie has: xxxx

acting: Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan are the two unwilling pawns. Billy Bob Thornton is a real jerk of an FBI agent. Rosario Dawson is an Air Force officer.

final word: Entertaining technology-gone-wild action flick.
