Fires of Kuwait

release year: 1992
genre: documentary
viewing setting: home DVD, 1/20/03

synopsis: This is a documentary showing how firefighters and others dealt with Iraq's burning of the Kuwait oil fields as they retreated.

impressions: Interesting, but it got old pretty quickly. I could see that there was some tough and unappreciated work to be done, and I was thankful that I wasn't part of it, but that was all. Still, this is fascinating stuff for firefighters and environmentalists.

acting: N/A. The narration was top-notch.

final word: Worth seeing, but your opinion may vary.
