impressions: This was the first of four released volumes collecting the 2008-2009 Japanese television series. This is good stuff; rather than recap the 13 episodes here, I'll point you to a page that does it better than I could. These are easy to watch, at under a half-hour apiece, and they're also a lot of fun. This collection had episodes 1-13; the highlights for me were episode 4 (involving a mobster's wife who hates her husband), episode 8 (involving a crime lord's attempts to protect himself from assassination), and episode 9 (involving Golgo infiltrating a prison.)

acting: N/A; the English subtitling doesn't always match the spoken English words well.

final word: Very entertaining, and I want more.
