synopsis: A former MMA fighter gets tricked into being human prey for crazy hunters.

impressions: It was entertaining and exactly what I'd have expected from a direct-to-video sequel: plenty of fighting and action and explosions, a basic but solid plot, and some over-the-top characters.

acting: Scott Adkins (who played the mute Deadpool in the fight scenes in X-Men Origins: Wolverine) is the hero here; he acts fine and fights well. Robert Knepper (who has a history of playing bad guys) channels Lance Henriksen from the original movie here, delivering a scenery-chewing main bad guy. Temuera Morrison (who played Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequels) is the #1 evil henchman. Rhona Mitra is an insane female hunter.
