synopsis: Super-assassin John wick just can't retire; this time, another crime boss calls in a favor, which sets in motion an increasingly-violent set of events.

impressions: This sequel is just like the first movie: dark, atmopsheric, and violent as hell. There are assassins everywhere and John Wick, one suspects, will never be safe. The ending of this one definitely set up a third movie.

acting: Keanu Reeves talks little and kills much. Ian Mcshane is back as the guy who runs the secret hotel for assassins and other people in that world. Common is a fellow assassin/adversary. Laurence Fishburne is a goofy crime lord who talks in circles.

final word: Good violent assassin drama/action.
