Larry the Cable Guy: Git-R-Done

release year: 2003
genre: comedy concert
viewing setting: home DVD, 1/17/05

synopsis: This is just over an hour of redneck comedy.

impressions: I'd never seen this before, but I enjoyed it, more or less. Basically, it went like this: a few minutes of so-so humor, then something really laugh-out-loud funny, repeat for an hour. Some of his best material involves stupidity at mall stores, Rosie O'Donnell, and Larry's supposed sponsored child, Bubli-Bubli.

something this movie has that no other movie has: A live audience with almost uniformly bad teeth.

acting: It's just Larry; he has good material and variety, but sometimes seems to forget where he's headed (this may be part of the act.)

final word: Funny in some ways, but will offend many; use your best judgement.
