synopsis: When a thief is betrayed and left for dead by his partners, he focuses all of his considerable talents on getting revenge.

impressions: Good low-key thriller. Well, maybe not that low-key. There was a good bit of violence, including a great prolonged one-on-one fight between Parker and an assassin. The movie had some room for humor, thanks mostly to the Jennifer Lopez character and her mother.

acting: Jason Statham is Parker, who's good with both his mind and his fists. Michael Chiklis is the leader of the gang that betrayed him. Jennifer Lopez is a real estate agent who gets involved.

final word: Solid heist/action movie.
