Predator: Dark Ages

Freya: "Do not listen to him. He's trying to scare you."
Godfrey: "It's working."

release year: 2015 (fan film)
genre: action/adventure/sci-fi
viewing setting: home streaming 5/5/23

synopsis: In the middle ages, a small band of knights sets out to deal with an unknown menace.

impressions: This was a fan film, under half an hour but very well-made. Despite the short running time, it had a coherent plot that played out well. The costumes and camera work were top-notch and there were a variety of characters involved. Bottom line, I'd pay to see a full-length theatrical movie by these filmmakers.

acting: Adrian Bouchet is the leader of the knights, who has a firm set of values and sticks to them. Amed Hashimi is a Saracen who tries to help despite everyone else hating him. Sabine Crossen is a tough female archer. Jon Campling is a tough old warrior, Ben Loyd-Holmes is a tough younger warrior, and Joe Egan is a big burly member of the group.
