Primal Rage

"From now on, this is not about retrieval. This is about survival."    - Luis

release year: 2018
genre: monster
viewing setting: home streaming 9/14/22

synopsis: A young couple ends up lost in the woods with some hunters, some Indians, and a really vicious Bigfoot.

impressions: It was basically okay, but had some elements that dragged out (like the whole mysticism angle) and also a certain scene that didn't add anything to the story and whidh I didn't care to see. The monster was upset and dangerous - it attacked and killed people at will, for no apparent reason. It also used weapons at times, which is a first for a Bigfoot movie in my experience..

acting: The two leads did fine, despite what some reviews might say. All of the hunters were stereotypical evil rednecks. The old police chief and his deputy didn't make sense at times. All in all, it's safe to say that all characters here weren't the brightest.

final word: A somewhat-unique Bigfoot movie, worth seeing once at best.
