Puppet Master 3

release year: 1991
genre: horror
viewing setting: home DVD, 6/27/13

synopsis: In Nazi Germany of the early 1940s, puppet master Andre Toulon has his life ruined by sadistic Germans.

impressions: This was a prequel, which filled in details of the guy's life and the nature of the puppets. Making its debut this time was Six-Shooter, a puppet with six arms, each of which holds a revolver. That's 36 tiny shots of mayhem!

body count: 11

acting: Guy Rolfe does a good job as Toulon. Sarah Douglas is his wife. Richard Lynch is great as usual in an evil role. Walter Gotell (the head Russian from many Bond movies) is a woman-loving Nazi general here.

final word: Pretty good, entertaining origin story.
