synopsis: A Las Vegas cab driver helps two kids who turn out to be aliens trying to find their way home.

impressions: This was a good remake, and a good movie in its own right. It had that ideal mix of fantasy, action, and drama that makes a good Disney movie. The special effects were great, and the action had enough danger to keep the film serious.

something this movie has that no other movie has: An armored alien assassin.

acting: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is the cab driver who ends up doing the right thing. AnnaSophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig are the rather-serious alien kids. Carla Gugino is a UFO/alien believer who gets involved. Ciaran Hinds is a jerk bad guy in charge of the government forces.

final word: Good movie, very entertaining.
