Razorback

release year: 1983
genre: horror/drama
viewing setting: home VHS, 11/13/99
what I expected: giant boar cheese
what I got: too much human BS and not enough giant boar

synopsis: Gigantic wild boar terrorizes Australian outback and carries people away and eats them.

impressions: Slow and plodding at times. The monster just didn't kill enough people, and we had to watch too much evil human activity.

body count: 4 confirmed kills

acting: Decent enough.

the good: Good monster attack scenes.

the bad: Too many unlikeable characters, slow and/or senseless parts.

final word: Probably the best giant killer boar movie ever made.

rating: C-
