Sea Beast

release year: 2008
genre: monster horror
viewing setting: home DVD, 5/30/17

synopsis: A fishing boat accidentally brings back a big hungry 4-legged fish that likes to eat people and have babies.

impressions: Use this equation: (carnivorous deep-sea fish) + (arms and legs) + (Predator-like invisibility power) = this movie's monster. There's no rhyme or reason to it...it just roams around and kills people, eats some of their parts, but leaves others behind. And it has little babies that do the same thing but aren't as big or strong.

body count: 12

acting: Corin Nemec (channeling Jeff Conaway and/or Kevin Bacon) is the main fisherman guy. Miriam McDonald is his idiotic daughter. Douglas Chapman is her slightly-less-idiotic boyfriend. Gary Hudson is the sheriff, who's also the main guy's brother.

final word: Somewhat silly but entertaining, worth seeing once (or even once in a while.)
