SEAL Team (season 6)

release year: 2022 (10 episodes)
genre: military drama/action
viewing setting: home streaming 11/2-20/22

synopsis: An elite military unit goes on various counter-terrorism missions around the world.

impressions: This season kicked off dealing with a life-changing injury to one of the guys, and then had the team back in Africa. Another subplot involved the plight of veterans who need help but have a hard time getting it. The anticipated reversion of Jason Hayes to his old asshole personality...almost happened, starting in episode 3, but he generally kept that under control. The big news this season was the unexpected death of a major character, which was hard-hitting.

acting: There's nothing more/new I can say here. All of these characters have developed, and most of that centers/centered around a single core concept: the home lives of special operators are challenging at best, impossible at worst.

final word: This series continues to be good, and is now taking more chances.
