episode synopsis: Steve investigates the apparent mysterious death of everyone in a small town.

impressions: This was the first episode that wasn't a two-hour "TV movie" format. It involved some disgruntled scientist testing his lethal sonic weapon and demanding ransom. Steve had to use his brain moreso than his bionics to get out of a jam and save the day.

significant bionic antics: Steve rips a metal fence post (and its concrete base) out of the ground and hurls it like a spear.
