episode synopsis: A scientist goes missing right before he would have perfected a powerful laser, so Steve heads to Spain and then the swamps of Louisiana to find him.

impressions: I'm not sure why Spain was part of the plot, other than to add an international setting for about five minutes. The scientist's daughter, whose help Steve enlists, has the power of ESP and actually uses it several times.

significant bionic antics: Steve wrestles and subdues an alligator, carves a canoe really fast, and breaks free of his holding cell to go wreak havoc.
