episode synopsis: Steve witnesses a failed assassination attempt on a lead prosecutor for a case against a big crime lord, and becomes involved to try and stop another attempt.

impressions: This was a well-paced and entertaining episode that featured a clever hitman with a secret. Steve has to forge ahead even when nobody believes him and it looks like he's wrong.

notable guest star: Veteran TV and movie actor Gary Lockwood (who was the superpowered crew member in the early Star Trek episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before" and Frank Poole in 2001: A Space Odyssey) is the hitman.

significant bionic antics: Steve's bionic eye initially sees the assassin at a distance and in the dark, which becomes critical in identifying him. He also jumps off a high building, runs really fast a couple of times, and jumps again to stop the second assassination attempt.
