episode synopsis: Steve attempts to re-test the experimental plane that caused his original accident.

impressions: This was a good one, but not really in a bionic way. It focused on Steve confronting the one thing that could still scare him, and in the process he helped uncover a saboteur. There were some tense moments, both in the simulator and the real plane.

notable guest star: Clifton James, the redneck cop in two of Roger Moore's early Bond movies, is the chief mechanic in this episode.

significant bionic antics: Steve stops a guy he doesn't like by almost crushing his arm, punches a control panel, and maintains control of his plane due to his bionic strength.
