episode synopsis: As Jaime gets her first mission, no one realizes that her body is rejecting her bionics.

impressions: I doubt I'm surprising you if you're reading this, but Jaime has issues yet succeeds in her mission, the bad guys are thwarted, wedding plans are made, and then she gets sick and dies (and is later brought back and eventually gets her own series!) Steve's anguish at her bedside as she passes away is touching.

notable guest star: Lindsay Wagner is Jaime Sommers, Steve's true lost love and the Bionic Woman.

significant bionic antics: Steve fights off bad guys, runs really fast several different times. Jaime uses her ear to crack a safe's combination lock, and she also runs superhumanly fast when fleeing the bad guys.
