The Six Million Dollar Man: The Deadly Test

episode synopsis: Steve takes over a military flight training school for a week, not knowing that one of the foreign pilots has been targeted.

impressions: It was okay. Lots of planes, some "you enemies need to learn to be friends" type lessons, and a bad guy who looked a lot like a younger Jack Palance and was almost suicidally stupid.

notable guest stars: Tim O'Connor (who played Dr. Huer in the 1970s Buck Rogers TV series) is the commander of the school. A young Erik Estrada plays the foreign pilot who's in danger.

significant bionic antics: Steve uses his arm to win a friendly arm-wrestling contest, uses his eye to spot a truck, chases that truck on foot, and hurls a missile. In unrelated matters, his bionics prove susceptible to the energy weapon the bad guys are using to destroy planes.
