The Six Million Dollar Man: Return of Death Probe (part 1)

episode synopsis: Someone's built another space probe and turned it loose, so Stave and Oscar have to figure out what's going on and how to stop the thing.

impressions: This was another sequel episode, featuring one of the cooler adversaries. There was some odd introductory plot involving an alloy, which I really didn't understand. Ruby adds metallurgist to his skillset here. As for the probe, it has some upgrades: whirling nail-covered spheres at the ends of its pincers, a claw-arm, and a laser gun! Oscar has to save Steve one time, and Steve has to save the world's dumbest kid (when you're sitting there fishing and the space probe comes rolling toward you, it's always wisest to just drop everything and flee.) A bad guy in this one had one of the worst fake beards I've ever seen; it didn't join at the top and bottom sections divided by his mouth.

significant bionic antics: Steve shatters a metal ingor, hurls a steel bar, bends a metal plate, fights the space probe a few times, and bionically flees a laser beam.
