Stingray season 2 episode 12: Blood Money

episode synopsis: Ray is asked by a high school principal to help set three kids straight before the gang lifestyle destroys them.

impressions: This one was pretty good, though it suffered from the "if we'd just killed the really bad bad guy when we had the chance, he wouldn't have escaped and killed a good guy" syndrome. Ray's gamble of trying to get through to the kids and hoping it worked was risky and unnecessary.

notable guest stars: TV and movie star John Amos is the principal. De'voreaux White (who played Argyle the limo driver in Die Hard) is one of the kids here. NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar makes a cameo at the end of the episode.

cool actions and tactics: Ray impersonates a Hispanic teacher, and does a fair bit of hand-to-hand fighting.
