Transporter: Refueled

release year: 2015
genre: action
viewing setting: home Bluray 12/27/15

synopsis: The Transporter (and his father) end up helping European hookers get their revenge on the evil mob boss and his friends.

impressions: Good action, overly complicated plot. These women shouldn't logically have had the brains or physical ability to carry out this elaborate revenge plot. Once I got past that, I had fun with the fights and chases. That's about all there was to it.

acting: Ed Skrein takes over as top-notch driver and fighter Frank Martin, and does a pretty good job. Ray Stevenson is his father, who's a retired super-agent, which really proves useful. The main woman, and the main bad guy, were competently played.

final word: Entertaining, if far-fetched, with good action scenes.
