what I got: a good example of fandom taken a little too far
synopsis: This movie documents the wide spectrum of "Star Trek" fans, from the fairly normal to the ridiculously committed. Some of the fringe fans were sort of scary. The lessons learned here apply to rabid fans of any sci-fi/fantasy TV show, come to think of it.
impressions: This was entertaining. It showed all sorts of fans of the various TV shows and movies, and as I said, there was quite a bit of variety.
acting: N/A - these people were real.
final word: Worth seeing, but prepare to groan at the utter geekdom of some of the profiled fans.
