synopsis: After some mercenaries attack a village, various people band together to get revenge.

impressions: The plot was fairly simple, but is did its job: get three good martial artist/actors on the same side so they could take down a group of bad guys. Some of these people are big names in Asian action cinema, and the action is plentiful, especially the hand-to-hand fights. I knew 7 minutes in that this was going to be a great martial-arts fest, and I was not wrong. This was a pretty good investment at $10 for the Bluray.

acting: Tony Jaa (from the Ong Bak movies), Iko Uwais (from the Raid movies), and Tiger Chen are the three good guys. The bad guys include Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, Michael Bisping, and Jeeja Yanin.

final word: Ultraviolent revenge movie, worth seeing.
