impressions: This fifth episode (going by the release dates) is 23 minutes long and is actually part 3 of a 3-episode sequence in the same wilderness area. Highlights of the woman's efforts this time: she plays with a grasshopper...is wearing a different set of clothes than last time...still hasn't caught any fish...is still barefoot as she does all her work...makes a chair from a wet log and some sticks...sharpens her chisel...builds a table from sticks and a stone slab...puts the dog on it...builds an umbrella roof...seems to avoid getting splinters somehow...finally catches a fish near the end of the episode!...uses mud and leaves to cook the fish, resulting in what looks like a big egg made of mud...puts a grass necklace on the dog while the fish cooks...chars the hell out of the fish but eats it anyway. As for the dog Vau, he was fairly lazy this time. While she made the chair, he just slept there in the wet mud. While she built the roof, he just slept there in the hammock. See a pattern here? Now I will say, when the fish was caught, the dog walked up and licked it. He also ate some once it was cooked. So far he's at about a 50% rate of eating the food that the woman prepares.
