synopsis: This Youtube channel shares videos of a woman roaming the jungle and building, killing, cooking, and eating things.
impressions: In this 22-minute ninth episode (going by release date on Youtube) the woman has somehow hurt her arm and it's bandaged. Sadly, the cause of the injury and the bandaging process are not explored. Highlights: the episode begins with the woman hiking and looking for the dog, which magically appears...it's cold (10 degrees Celsius)...the dog has a jacket...a few subtitles inform the viewer that the woman had an accident...the dog just plops down...the woman eyes the riverbank and then declares "I will be here tonight" and plops down herself...she checks her bandage...she pulls a huge waterlogged bamboo branch out of the water...then digs in the sand (the dog could have helped here, but didn't)...the woman builds a frame, puts her tarp on top, and packs the sides of the structure with wet sand...meanwhile, the dog struggles to walk through grass rather than simply walk around it...a small boat with two people on it drifts by, in the distance...the woman she stands the dog up and grins, but doesn't interact with the boat...then she gathers sticks and makes a fire, while the dog just sits there in the sand looking sleepy...the woman unlimbers her telescoping fishing pole and starts fishing...the boat passes by in the background, with the woman and dog in the foreground, proving that everything is actually happening in the same place...she forages for rocks, albeit only ones that resemble eggs in shape and size...she dries out the wet firewood and cooks her egg-rocks...and then collects some more (non-egg-like) rocks with which she makes a flat platform for her cooking supplies and ingredients...it looks like dinner is a big slab of beef, plus assorted vegetables and a sauce...the dog just sits there inside the tent, watching her cook...the egg-rocks are for cooking, as the meat goes across them...the woman eats inside the tent, and feeds the dog too...then checks the fishing line, which is empty (could it be that she's fishing in the wrong places?)...she carries the dog out there too. And then the episode just ends. Although this was listed as a part 1, there doesn't seem to be a part 2 next to it in the Youtube channel, so there's that mystery.
