synopsis: This Youtube channel shares videos of a woman roaming the jungle and building, killing, cooking, and eating things.
impressions: This 18-minute episode is the 4th in a series of 5 linked ones from the same outing. After eating some breakfast, the woman heads into the jungle, leaving behind the dog and the monkey (as the monkey climbs all over the dog's crotch yet again.) The woman refills her water bottle from what looks like a giant puddle, and then gets scared by a dead snake, which surprisingly she doesn't carry back to eat. And then she is startled by a deer running by, and gives chase ("it's a good source of protein".) Unfortunately - and let me say that this seems to be a really rough day for her - she not only loses the deer but also gets lost in the jungle. Calling her dog and monkey doesn't help because not only are they presumably too far away to hear her, they're probably asleep anyway. Anyway, she taps into a banana tree to solve her thirst problem, then builds a simple shelter and a fire. And then, worried about her pets who are somewhere out there in the night with no food, she cries a little. This is the first episode in which she's shown anything other than a tough side. Anyhow, morning finds her wandering the jungle again and then climbing a tree to get a better idea of where she is. This gets her back on track, although she slips and falls while on the way back to her original camp. Eventually, her repeated calls yield a result: the dog comes running! This is the most useful thing it's done so far in the series. The monkey's not far behind, and before long, everyone's safe and sound in the shelter they've called home for this and the previous three episodes. She's still covered in mud, though.
