impressions: This 17-minute episode begins with the woman bathing herself while the monkey plays at the water's edge. Then she returns to her shelter under the big rock (where she's been for the previous four episodes), breaks it down, and leaves. The dog diligently (if sometimes slowly) follows - and suddenly, just like that, they're walking on a paved road, with a city in the distance! Civilization! She returns to her sister's house and they catch up on whatever it is they talk about in Vietnamese. And then it's time to take the net and get some fish from the pond. I probably don't have to tell you what happens next. And while dinner's cooking, the monkey chews on the dog's toes and pokes and prods at his head. When the food's ready, the dog takes some of the fish, although for some reason the monkey won't. And that's a wrap.
