synopsis: This Youtube channel shares videos of a woman roaming the wilderness and building, killing, cooking, and eating things.
impressions: So first of all, the previous video did not in fact feature the event that its title suggested it would...and also it was part 1 but now this, the next dated video on Youtube, is a brand-new part 1. Mysteries! Anyhow, this one starts with some marching and then Wild Beauty fanning the dog, I guess because it was getting overheated. Soon after, it rains hard for a while and the posse has to take shelter...shortly after which she decides to build a small shalter. This process involves a lot of chopping and sawing and tying, during which the monkey sits next to her as she's working and peels apart some leaves. I guess he was imitating her as she worked...I get the feeling that he's fairly intelligent (why else would be ride the dog around most of the time, instead of walking?) Later he sits on top of the dog and continues to play with some grass. About the shelter she's building here, I've got to mention that it's unique in design - its main spine is a thick piece of bamboo which she's notched so that it can bend around like an upside-down U. Meanwhile, the monkey seems to have a particular fascination with the dog's lips and teeth - and at other times, its crotch. It sure is strange out there in the forest. After the main hut is finished, she makes a fence and some flooring - and breaks her knife while batoning bamboo! Not sure if that's her power, as opposed to a weak knife or improper batoning methods. Whatever the case, she finishes working and is then shown sitting in her new hut while it rains again.
