synopsis: This Youtube channel shares videos of a woman roaming the wilderness and building, killing, cooking, and eating things.
impressions: This 32-minute episode is part 7 of this current arc, and starts out in the morning with Wild Beauty making sewing repairs to some damaged pants, while the monkey scratches its ass and the dog sleeps. Then she heads into the forest, stopping briefly to look at a bird's nest within a bamboo stalk. And then it's raining hard, and everyone has to take shelter under a big rock overhang. And then it's not raining anymore, and she and the pets resume their trek, stopping to eat some fruit they find. Well, the monkey eats - the dog just sits there. Then they find more fruits in a tree above, and both Wild Beauty and the monkey go up there to retrieve some. Later, she uses rocks, bamboo, and leaves to build a platform and shelter above a stream. Then, she's found a pool and decides to take a bath, just like that. Turns out the monkey's a really good swimmer, and he hangs around her while she's cleaning herself. Later, he's completely soaked and the dog licks water off of him (probably because that's easier than going to find water himself.) Then, suddenly, it's night and she's got a headlamp and is roaming the dark forest in search of prey...crabs, to be exact. She catches about five and then returns to the shelter, makes a fire, and soon it's time for a seafood feast. The monkey really likes the crab meat, but the dog just lies there and sleeps through dinner the same way it generally sleeps through life. Soon after that, everyone's asleep. But then...at 2:05 am...she wakes up because the dog's not only gone, he's out there somewhere in the night barking. Of course he is, since all he did all day (and every day) is sleep except when he was forced to walk to keep up with her travels...yeah, why wouldn't he just randomly wake up and wander off in the middle of the night and get into some sort of trouble, necessitating a rescue? What a pain in the fucking ass. Anyway, Wild Beauty gets up and goes searching, and finds a big lizard waddling around; she gives chase, but can't catch it. I have no idea what happened to the dog, or the significance of the lizard, or what the hell's going on...and then the episode ends abruptly.
