synopsis: This Youtube channel shares videos of a woman roaming the wilderness and building, killing, cooking, and eating things.
impressions: This 32-minute episode is part 2 of the current story arc, and starts out with Wild Beauty removing slugs and bugs from herself. It looks like the base camp she chose last time is infested with mosquitos, and so she relocates to a space within the base of a large tree. She digs out and flattens the ground inside, installs rocks to make a floor, cuts down branches to use as posts for an elevated bed, installs those and a mat she weaves, and...presto! She's got a sleeping place up off the forest floor. Meanwhile, during all of this work, the monkey scampers around and the dog...sleeps. Big shocker, I know. Next up is a fireplace, a fire, and the cooking of dinner (which looks like a big hunk of ham or maybe beef, and which the dog gets to share, to make up for all the calories it didn't burn today while being a lazy-ass.) Then it's time for bed up there on the raised platform. But...at 2:05 am...there's a visitor! It'a a snake, and it looks like it just wants to park itself by the fire and get warm. Then at 2:32 am, another snake shows up, except this one's actually in the tree and ends up lying across the foot of the bed-platform. And then at 2:41 am, Wild Beauty wakes up and kicks the damn snake out of the bed, and it falls to the ground and gets the hell out of there. But not before the dumbass dog almost wanders off the end of the platform, which would have resulted in falling damage as well as possible snake damage. And that's it for this one, folks.
