9/11 Reunited

release year: 2026
genre: documentary
viewing setting: home streaming 9/12-13/26 (3 episodes total)

synopsis: This 3-episode documentary series tells the linked stories of 9/11 survivors (typically a rescuer and a rescued) and then shows each pair meeting for the first time in 25 years.

impressions: This was another documentary we watched on the 25th anniversary of the event, and it did a great job of showing the human side of that day. It was heartwarming to see the people finally reunite and talk and remember and thank each other. This was a good reminder that we not only need to remember those who were lost, but also those who were saved.

acting: n/a, these accounts came from the actual people who were there that day

final word: Great series of six accounts of survivors and their saviors.
