Beavis and Butt-Head (random sampling of early season 5 episodes)
(watching a music video)
Beavis: "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Boobs...and butts! Look at her!"
Butt-Head: "Boy. If this dude here can get these kinds of chicks, we might actually be able to score someday."
Beavis: "Yeah, yeah, yeah."
Butt-Head: "Beavis, we need to start a band. Today."
Beavis: "Yeah! Look at her!"
Butt-Head: "I mean like right now. While we're sitting here on our butts, chicks are probably doing it with dudes in bands."
Beavis: "Yeah, I'm tired of sitting around and talking about it. Let's do it!"
Butt-Head: "Just as soon as this video is over."

synopsis: These are some adventures of Beavis and Butt-Head from their heyday in the mid-1990s.
impressions: This review covers all of the season 5 episodes available on Paramount Plus as of mid-August 2026. Most of these, I don't own on DVD/Bluray and some of them I had never seen before. I noticed two things in this batch: first, their commentary on the music videos had become truly clever and satirical (episides 14 and 15 in particular stand out for this) and second, the music videos of the time were generally crap. I mean really crap - as in, it's hard to understand how anyone chose to spend money to make them. And that, I suppose, is why those videos were chosen for viewing/criticism on this show. Of 50 total season 5 episides, 23 were offered for watching on Paramount Plus at the time of this adventure; here are the episode synopses with the funniest ones in boldface:
(5.2) Killing Time - TV programming stops for two hours, and they don't know what to do
(5.4) Choke - Butt-Head is choking, and Beavis fails to focus on the problem
(5.7) Dude, a Reward - they find some expensive camera equipment and try to claim the reward (Wikipedia lists this as episode 5.9)
(5.8) Walking Erect - they visit a zoo (Wikipedia lists this as episode 5.10)
(5.11) Career Day - for the school career fair, they choose to be mall security guards
(5.13) Take a Number - they go to a concert without tickets, then end up in a long line for the single port-a-potty
(5.14) Beaverly Hillbillies - inspired to dig for oil in their backyard, they instead hit a different substance
(5.15) Tainted Meat - Beavis infects all the meat at Burger World
(5.16) Stewart Moves Away - they go to Stewart's house and mistake robbers for moving men
(5.17) Top O' the Mountain - in an effort to see boobs, they go to a hair salon
(5.20) Bad Dog - after seeing an ad on TV, they decide to adopt a dog, and choose the meanest one in the pound
(5.23) Candy Sale - given candy to sell for the school, they just sell the bars back and forth to each other using the same two dollars
(5.27) To the Rescue - they "help" after a small plane crashes nearby
(5.30) Here Comes the Bride's Butt - they attend a random wedding in the hopes of scoring
(5.33) Skin Trade - Beavis finds a dead animal, and they try to sell its fur
(5.34) Oil Change - they use motor oil in the fryers at Burger World

(5.42) Whiplash - they come up with the idea to become injured so they can get money
(5.45) Murder Site - they visit the site of a murder after seeing it on TV
(5.47) Sexual Harassment - inspired by a talk in class, they decide that they're being harassed and find a lawyer
(5.48) Bus Trip - a field trip into the mountains goes sideways

acting: n/a but the various voices get the job done
final word: Good funny content from the show's prime years.
