Beavis and Butt-Head (random sampling of early season 6 episodes)

old lady at yard sale: "Oh, what a precious manger. The pastor will love this. But where's the baby Jesus?"
Butt-Head: "Uhhhhh...he's like ten bucks extra."
old lady: "Charging money for the baby Jesus? That's sacrilege."
Butt-Head: "He's naked."

synopsis: These are some adventures of Beavis and Butt-Head from their heyday in the mid-1990s.

impressions: This review covers all of the season 6 episodes available on Paramount Plus as of mid-September 2026. Some of these, I don't own on DVD/Bluray and some of them I had never seen before. As before...the music videos from this time period were really bad. As were the songs. I realize that the show usually picked bad ones for the guys to make fun of, but I continue to be amazed that some of these bands or singers actually thought they were creating something worthwhile when what they were really doing was spouting nonsense with little musical rhythm or entertainment value. That's harsh, I know, but if you don't like it, you can try watching these videos and see if I'm wrong. Of 20 total season 6 episides, 9 were offered for watching on Paramount Plus when I tackled this season; I find myself wondering how exactly Paramount decides which ones to make available. Anyway, here are the episode synopses with the funniest ones in boldface:

(6.1) Bungholio: Lord of the Harvest - Beavis goes nuts with Halloween candy, and ends up in the middle of nowhere
(6.2) The Mystery of Morning Wood - they decide to do their school project on a long-standing mystery
(6.3) U.S. History - they try to BS their way through the history reports due at school
(6.11) Stewart is Missing - they help out when Stewart can't be found
(6.15) No Service - Beavis is unable to keep things moving at a busy Burger World, and Butt-Head doesn't help
(6.16) Yard Sale - they are given the responsibility of running Mr. Anderson's yard sale
(6.18) Substitute - the class at school gets a super-positive substitute teacher
(6.19) Shopping List - Mr. Anderson sends them to the store to get him some things, but they get sidetracked
(6.20) Buy Beer - they see an ad for non-alcoholic beer that anyone can buy, and get an idea

acting: n/a but the various voices get the job done

final word: Good funny content from the show's prime years.
