Jenny Tian: Supreme Mother

release year: 2026
genre: live comedy concert
viewing setting: home streaming 8/19/26

synopsis: This is a live comedy concert starring Asian-Australian comedienne Jenny Tian.

impressions: Like the first one and second one, this was consistently funny and entertaining. This time, she focuses on her decision to move to the U.S. (in 2020, which then got delayed) and her eventual actual move (visa approved in 2024, move happened sometime after that) and the interim time in London - all through the lens of life under/with her somewhat dominant mother. The stories are real and work to strengthen the comedy material.

final word: Good comedy from a rising star who got started online and is finally doing shows around the world (we actually just saw her in our city last Friday.)
