The A-Team: Diamonds N' Dust

episode synopsis: The team goes to Africa to help a lady open her diamond mine, which an evil diamond tyrant is trying to take over.
impressions: This was the second season kickoff episode, and was generally okay. The team got to travel to a faraway place and have some adventure. My one problem was that again, the bad guys clearly killed someone, yet they still got the clownish "we'll mess with you, beat you, and turn you in" treatment.
notable guest star: One of the bad-guy soldiers was Brian Libby, who played the killer in Silent Rage and some other, minor roles in the 1980s.
what the team builds in this episode: A miniature armored tank with a battering ram containing dynamite, which they use to break out of the mine and destroy the bad guys' jeep.
Hannibal wisecrack highlight: while in disguse as a carnival worker, he flirts with the girl who's looking for the A-Team
B.A. toughness highlight: after seeing bad guys go into the bar and lock the door, he breaks through and beats most of them up all by himself
Murdock insanity highlight: carries around a stuffed animal, talking to it (until it gets shot in a firefight)
Face scam highlight: pretends to be a British inspector in order to get some dynamite
Amy usefulness highlight: does background research on the lady who wants to hire the team
