synopsis: Jason does his thing in the winter, so there's snow.

impressions: A prequel to Never Hike Alone, this is another fan production from Womp Stomp Films. This one concerns a past, separate murder at the old campsite, and the efforts of an old sheriff to either ignore it, cover it up, or both (his motivations aren't made clean.) Also, the ending is very abrupt and suggests that more movies will be made to continue this story.

acting: Director Vincente DiSanti again returns in a dual role, as he also plays the killer. Vincent Guastaferro reprises his role from Jason Lives but is now the sheriff. Ditto for Thom Mathews, who was Tommy Jarvis in that 1986 movie.

final word: XXXXX Good fan-made short Friday the 13th film, worth watching.
